perfume for women

Over the years, my love of perfume for women has grown into almost a hobby of collecting wonderful bottles from around the world. I believe it actually started around my 16th birthday when my best friend at the time gave me my first bottle of perfume for women. Before that time, I'd wanted to wear perfume, but my mom said that I wasn't old enough for perfume for women and that when I turned 16 that I'd be old enough. I didn't think 16 would arrive quickly enough because I knew that meant that I could start wearing perfume for women, but it also meant that I was going to be a woman or at least well on my way to being a woman.

That same year for Christmas, my parents also gave me a bottle of perfume and so began the love that has lasted more than 20 years. I remember that my mom was very resistant in the beginning to giving me perfume for women for almost every occasion because she felt as though I was growing up too fast. She could see that somehow I associated the perfume for women for being older and more mature, and I think that it scared my mom. It meant she had to admit that her baby was growing up and becoming a woman, at a much faster rate than she wanted. Eventually I think she understood that I just loved the scents and the different bottles of the perfume and I believe she saw it more as the hobby it had become. Even though I did wear the perfume for women, I kept the bottles displayed on a shelf long after I'd used the last drop. Truth is I still have those first bottles, only now, instead of being displayed in my bedroom, the perfume for women bottles are proudly displayed on a glass shelf in my bathroom.
